Se entregan los premios The Horror Game Awards 2025

Hace cuatro años comenzó un festival dedicado en exclusiva a los juegos de terror, género poco representado en los eventos por norma general, y que se llama Horror Game Awards. Creado por los británicos Phil Dickens y Will Penkeyman, con el tiempo se ha reunido un equipo profesional de fans y una colaboración con Lost in Cult, editora dedicada a la preservación de juegos, libros y ediciones físicas de juegos independientes. La edición de 2025 ya se ha celebrado, de manera presencial además, y se ha entregado dieciséis premios muy distintos entre sí, que abarcan tanto aspectos técnicos como artísticos, incluso se honró a un profesional del medio por su trayectoria.

Entre premios y nominados de cada categoría, el evento también da visibilidad a muchos proyectos futuros, revela novedades en primicia y ofrece descuentos de los ya publicados en Steam. Juegos como The Florist, The Boba Teashop, Graft, The Cabin Factory, Five Nights at Freddy's: The Secret of Mimic, Echoes of the Living o Who's at the door?, Cover Pit, Amanda the Adventurer 3, Conscript: Director’s Cut, Horripilant, Becrowned, Silver Pines, 9th Charnel, Baptiste, DreadOut 3, The Bagman o Project Songbird.
